As the Director of Development for the Foundation for Louisiana, Chantelle Pierre leverages over 25 years of experience in education and nonprofit leadership. She leads the organization’s development initiatives, focusing on donor engagement, fundraising, and inclusive leadership development. Chantelle is recognized for her strategic vision and has been instrumental in raising significant multi-year gifts to support Black-led grassroots organizations serving vulnerable populations. A native of New Orleans, Chantelle is pursuing her Ph.D. in Justice Studies at the University of New Orleans. She is an advisor to Outdoor Afro and the St. Charles Center for Faith + Action. She recently joined the board of Friends of Codey’s NOLA.
